About Me

Classically trained violinist and arranger Patti Rudisill has been an active professional musician for over fifteen years, performing in eight countries on three continents. Originally from Miami, FL, she moved to Nashville in 2010 and maintains a busy schedule as a freelance orchestral, chamber, and commercial recording musician.

As an orchestral musician, Patti has performed with premiere classical groups including the New World Symphony, Naples Philharmonic, Huntsville Symphony, Eastern Festival Orchestra, Nashville Opera, and Gateway Chamber Orchestra. As a commercial musician, she has performed for major artists and touring shows such as Michael W. Smith, Rod Stewart, Jordin Sparks, Mannheim Steamroller, Pixar in Concert, Distant Worlds: Music from Final Fantasy, and The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses.

Frequently in the studio, she can be heard on everything from country music albums to film scores. As a member of the ensemble Nashville Music Scoring, she has performed for dozens of video game soundtracks, including internationally acclaimed franchises such as Call of Duty, Destiny, Dragon Age, Minecraft, Uncharted, Until Dawn, Ori and the Blind Forest, Ratchet and Clank, Fifa, and Madden, to name a few. Recent solo credits include Cartoon Network’s Steven Universe (ep. 30: “Island Adventure”), the game Masquerada: Songs and Shadows (Witching Hour Studios), and the film Re/Collection.

Equally active as an arranger and composer, her works have been performed by the Nexus Chamber Orchestra, Florida Youth Orchestra, Sociedad Pro-Arte Grateli, Bergonzi String Quartet, and Phoenix Chamber Brass. Most recently her arrangements of music by Cuban and Brazilian composers were featured on the Nexus Chamber Orchestra’s debut album, Latin Dreams. Patti also maintains a YouTube channel devoted to performing original arrangements of video game music for strings. Her string quartet arrangement of “Gusty Garden Galaxy” was featured by Nintendo as a winner of the 30th anniversary Let’s Super Mario Contest, and “Bonetrousle” won Best Acoustic/Chamber Remix at the 2018 MAGFest G.A.N.G. Awards. Current online collaborations include album releases by Materia Collective (Johto Legends, Sins of Hyrule) and Project Destati Volume II: DARKNESS.

Patti began violin studies at the age of six, and also began studying viola and piano a few years later. She received her B.M. in violin performance from the University of Miami, and her M.M. from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
